Hey dolls!

I know I haven’t posted in a few days but I kept very busy over my spring break. I attended IMATS two days (vlog and ootd video is up on my channel), I enjoyed lots of time with my son, I filmed a BUNCH of videos for you guys that will be edited and uploaded over the next week or two… and I also made a bunch of iPhone cases. Yes, MADE some iPhone cases.

I first got the idea while watching one of JulieG713 videos on YouTube. I saw her phone case and loved it. She mentioned that she got it on eBay. Once I started researching I realized that I could totally do that myself. So I super bedazzled my own case with a barbie and Louie Vuitton theme and lots of people were asking me if I could make one for them. It sort of took off and I have been making and selling a bunch since. I was fortunate enough to actually meet Julie in person at IMATS and thank her for being the spark that gave me this new idea.

I decided to share a few of the most recent cases I have made with you guys! Two of these have already been sold and one is still available for now. (The first one pictured is still available) They are so much fun to make and I love any way to show my creativity. Hope you guys like them!

Hey loves!

I uploaded my first nail tutorial today!! Now, I’m by no means a nail expert but I wanted to share a fun little trick I use to spice up my nails from time to time. I love using microbeads on my nails and since I just found a pack of all new spring time colors it was only logical that I do a tutorial for you all! Hope you like this video!

Hiiiiii!!

First of all.. as of this afternoon I will officially be on Spring Break from work!!!!! WooHoo!!!!! So as a “spring break challenge” to myself I am going to try to film something for my youtube channel everyday. Now, I may not get to edit and upload a video each day, but I will try my hardest to at least FILM one video a day and upload them as soon as I can. You guys can expect 3 nail tutorial, 1 or possible 2 hair tutorials (especially a waterfall braid that was requested about 2 weeks ago and I haven’t had time to get to it), probably another vlog or two (including an IMATS vlog!!), makeup tutorials and more!!!! So stay tuned for that!

For now, here is an outfit of the day post from this past Sunday. If you watched my vlog video then you would have seen this outfit when I went on my Easter egg hunt with my son. Here are the outfit pictures and details. Enjoy!

What I’m wearing – Blouse: Forever 21, Pants – Express, Accessories – Forever 21, Shoes – ShoeDazzle

Hey loves,

I’m sorry in advanced for cramming two videos into this blog post. I was originally going to stick in an outfit of the day as well but decided to save that for tomorrow. Any who, I have been sick with the flu! Booooooo. I had to stay home from work yesterday and today but thankfully I am feeling a little bit better today!

I just wanted to share with you all two videos I have uploaded to my youtube channel this week. The first was a fun project I came up with. A company contacted me to send me a product for review. Instead of a basic review I came up with a story line and made a mini comedy movie type of video featuring the product. I hope you guys like it!!!!

Next is a vloooggggg. You guys have asked me to vlog so I decided to vlog my weekend! I hope you enjoy it. If you like it I can do more of these in the future.

As always, leave me feedback! xOxO

Happy Mondayyyy!

To start of the week I am posting up two OOTD’s. One is from about 2 weekends ago. I have been debating weather or not to post it because when I saw the pics I realized just how chubby I had gotten over the winter!!!! Initially I was so embarassed of the pictures and was not going to post them at all.

I decided to ask my FaceBook friends what they thought I should do and many of them wanted me to post the pictures. So here they are! I am posting these pictures along with an OOTD video from this past Saturday. I have been working very hard to get my summer body back in shape and I see some progress. I hope you guys can compare the pics and the video and see some progress as well. Let me know what you think! Many of us females deal with the problem of gaining holiday or winter weight and then trying to lose it in time to fit into a bikini again. Let’s take the journey together! =0]

As always what I’m wearing in the pics will be listed at the bottom of the blog. That day I went to the movies to see the Lorax. It was my sons first ever time going to the movie theater to see a movie!!! He was a little bit scared and had to sit on my lap after like 20 minutes of sitting in his own chair. He did end up making it through the entire movie, although I had to whisper to him a few times to ease his fears. We discussed what was happening in the movie and that seemed to take his mind of being scared. I think the dark room, big screen, and loud volume is what really scared him – it was a new experience. The movie was adorable and after it was all said and done he keeps saying he wants to go back and watch it again and that he won’t be scared this time. lol

What I’m wearing in the video is discussed in the video.

What I’m Wearing: White Jeans – Express, Purple Tank Top – Victoria Secret, Mint Green Jean Vest – Forever 21, Accessories – Forever 21, Moccasins – Sperry, Wooden Jesus Piece – borrowed without asking from my fiance lol, White Rosary – borrowed from my mom, Sunglasses – Borrowed from JR also – I have to ask him the brand =0]

Hey everyone!!

I was hoping to get this post up last week but I’ve been so busy with work and life that I wasn’t able to.. buttt… finally it’s here!!!

This is going to be the second blog post featuring my favorite product from my Influenster Love Vox Box. (check out my previous blog for my other favorite product and a little more info about the Influenster website) This particular review is a complete rave!! In my vox box I recieved a Kiss Nail Dress to test out and fell head over heels in love with it!!! I absolutely adore them – so much so that I have already gone out and purchased two more in different designs!!

I’ve seen products like these int he stores before but was always skeptical about them so I never purchased it myself. When I saw one in my vox box I thought – cool now I finally get to try it! I was really happily surprised. I have this problem that when I paint my nails I suddenly remember a million things that I “have” to do in that moment. Rather than waiting for my nails to dry I try to carefully do some of the things and I always always always mess up my polish before it is dry – it never fails. These nail dresses tackle that problem for me. They are like nail polish stickers. I just had to pick which size best fit each nail bed (every box comes with 28 strips in varying sizes so you have enough for fingers, toes, and then some) and then place it on. The sticker was not flimsy – it did not fold over and stick on itself once I took the backing off. I carefully centered it on my nail and pressed down and out. The excess I just folded down and carefully filed down to cut it off and it ended up perfect. (file is included with the kit as well!) The best part – no drying time!!!! Just stick and you’re ready to go!!! Well that was the best part for me lol.

I put them to the test – they are supposed to last 10 days. I was so happy to find that 10 days later they were still on strong and not one chip, which is something that always happens to me with regular polish. I did remove them after the 10 days anyway and removal was very easy. I just peeled them off with no tugging or ripping of my natural nail bed. One thing I did notice after I removed them was that my nails had grown and felt stronger so I guess having the sticker on acted as a protector for my nails and kept them strong. Another plus!

When I went (running) to the store to buy more I was happy to see so many pretty designs. Other brands that carry similar products don’t have as nice designs – in my opinion. I also like that you can get creative with this product. You can use nail polish on your nails and then cut the Kiss Nail Dress in a V shape and apply to the tip of your nail or any shape you want really. It’s just another fun way to get creative. I have definitely been sold on this product. For my lifestyle the no drying wait time and the fact that it kept my nails strong were two major pluses. And the coolest part – everyone thought I did it myself. I heard so many comments about how cool it looked and how it must have taken me such a long time to do …. Nope just a couple of minutes =0]

Check out www.kissnaildress.com to find out more about this product and I hope you get to check it out! If you do post pics on my facebook I would love to see! www.facebook.com/missbarbiebabymua

Hey my loves!

Some of you might remember a video I posted about a week or two ago about the free products that I received in my Vox Box from influenster.com which were sent to me to test out – if you haven’t seen that video yet then I will post the video down below so you can check out my haul.

I’ve had such a positive response from that video. Everyone was eager to sign up to influenster and join the product testing fun! I’m happy you guys found the info useful!!! I received some amazing products in my box. There are two in particular that I loveeeeeee!!! I decided to dedicate an entire blog post to each of my two favorites!

One of the products that I fell in love with was the Venus & Olay Razor.

I have been torturing my legs for years by purchasing the cheap, no name brand, generic 6 for $3.99 packages of razors. I just could not see paying $10+ for a razor. I never knew what the difference was and I wasn’t willing to take the chance of wasting more money. I had resigned myself to a future of constant nics and cuts. I was soooo happy to see this the Venus & Olay Razor in my Vox Box. I thought – wow here is my chance to finally try out a real razor!!!!

The packaging instantly caught my attention. Things like “5 blades”, “moisture bars” and “replenish” instantly jumped out at me. It has been rare for me to see 5 blade razors for women in the past, usually that extra blade is left for mens razors. That is totally unfair! We should be entitled to the extra razor and the extra close and smooth shave as well and this product provides that so I was excited about that! The super moisturizing factors were also a huge plus for me. It has been a long winter and my poor skin has suffered greatly. I have been on a mission to get my skin hydrated, soft and supple again in time for shorts and dresses season. To think that my razor could help me achieve that goal was awesome.

Needless to say I was eager to try this product out. During the winter I usually limit my shaving (legs) to Fridays in case I have a party or other activity during the weekend. Weekdays I generally wear pants and my legs are never seen. However, my Vox Box arrived mid week and during my shower that night I couldn’t resist. I just picked up the razor to shave my underarms (which I do shave whenever necessary lol I don’t wait for the weekends!) and I couldn’t stop myself from continuing to my legs. I didn’t bother to use shaving cream and soon saw that I didn’t even need it!!!! Later I also read on the product information that shaving cream is not needed – they were sooo right. The lather that the razor made on its own was more than my shaving cream would have given me. The best part, my skin felt so soft and not dry at all after shaving.

I’ve definitely been converted over to quality razors and will be purchasing refills when needed so that I can continue to use the Venus & Olay Razor. Come on, their slogan mentions “Goddess Skin” what more could any girl want! For more information on this product please check out their website www.gillettevenus.com and look out for this in your local drugstores – it should be on the shelves soon!

If you get to try it out let me know how you like it! I’ll be sharing my other favorite product from my Vox Box soon so look out for that also.

Hey dolls!!!

I recently found out about the NYX Cosmetics Face Awards contest – one of my YouTube subscribers actually passed along the info to me – and I was sooo excited to enter! I love doing creative makeup looks and this contest gave me another reason to do a creative tutorial!!

I also decided to create a look that could be built up. It can be a very simple look for the less adventurous and can also be built up to the creative end result which I show in the video. Along the way I point out all the places where you could end the look if you wanted to. I like “buildable looks” because I feel like more of my viewers can enjoy those type of tutorials. You can decide if you like the simplistic version or the amped up version of the look better!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my Fairy Princess inspired look. If you like the look please click the like button on the video. Each like will add to my overall score when the look is being judged. Happy Monday everyone – hope you all have an amazing week ahead!!!
